Another bad outfit : (

Another attendee of the Operation Smile Event was Olivia Palermo. Now, for those that need introduction, Palermo is essentially a socialite turned reality tv “actress” via MTV’s The City (in which she works hangs around Elle Magazine). Either way, being a socialite seems reason enough for Palermo to have shown up at Operation Smile.

Now, you’d expect she’d come in something fabulous since she’s always dressed fabulously and even appears in magazine telling others how to dress fabulously. Sadly, that was not the case. Sure her hair looks good, and the bag could potentially be exciting on another outfit, that’s about it. The best thing about Palermo’s outfit was her arm candy.

Jessica Simpson was out tonight in honor of one her main charities, Operation Smile.

While the dress actually fits her very well (especially since she’s at the heavier end of her usual skinny-big-skinny-big cycle), her jewelry is appropriate, and her hair and make-up are more elegant than they’ve been since about 6 or so events ago…the pattern looks a little too much like my grandmother’s draperies, the shoulder fluff looks like it went one dryer cycle too far, and her shoulders are sooo high you can see she’s barely breathing and sucking in hard for the cameras. It could have been a good look with just a few tweeks. Good effort Jessica! What do you guys think of the gown?
